The Rooftop

As I lie here and look toward the sky,
I ponder on where you are, and if I'm on your mind.
I see the stars and feel their glow,
I watch the moon, and suddenly I know.
I see your face, I feel your smile,
I taste your lips and all the while,
I know I'm with you, and you with me,
Even if it's only a rooftop, it's where I'll be.
